Wifi Configuration Guide

Your unit should ship pre-configured with the WiFi credentials you’ve provided. To change WiFi credentials, take the following steps:

1. Place a new text file named wifi.txt in the root directory of a USB drive.
2. Open wifi.txt (Notepad, Visual Studio Code, etc) and enter your SSID on line 1, and key on line 2.
   
3. Save the file and eject the USB drive.
4. Disconnect power and data from the Chatterbox.
5. Insert the USB drive into the Chatterbox’s USB port.
6. Reconnect power.
7. Wait 1 full minute for the unit to accept it’s new configuration and restart
8. Disconnect power and your USB drive.
9. Reconnect the USB to RS232 cable to the machine.
10. Reconnect power to the Chatterbox.
11. You should see your Chatterbox online in your Chatter admin panel. If you do not see the unit online, please repeat these steps.
